  • Help set up, host, pass out programs, make and serve refreshments, etc.
  • One-time or continued commitment
  • Gallery Hops
  • New Books By Great Writers series
  • Dates and other special events are listed in our current newsletter (http://www.carnegieliteracy.org/workshops.htm)
  • Building Maintenance and Office Support

  • Tutoring Resource Room Assistance/Office Help
  • Clean-up days: raking, weeding, painting, cleaning, etc.
  • One-time or continued commitment
  • Special Projects

  • Fundraisers, Book Drives, Carnegie Center 5K Race
  • Volunteer to teach a free, literacy-related class or workshop
  • Donations

  • Gently used books are always appreciated (children, young adult, adult)
  • Books will be placed in our Reading Room and Tutoring Room
  • Magazine subscriptions
  • Please, no textbooks
  • A receipt can be given for your tax-deductible donation
