THE CARNEGIE CENTER VISTA NETWORK
The Carnegie Center is the host organization for a network of AmeriCorps*VISTA sponsoring agencies. We are proud to have 6 talented, passionate VISTA members serving in our network. Our current partner agencies are:

WHAT IS VISTA?
AmeriCorps*VISTA is a national service program, often informally referred to as the “domestic Peace Corps.” VISTA members commit one year to working full-time at a nonprofit organization. VISTA projects focus on fighting the root causes of poverty through building the capacity of the agency. Unlike members of other service programs that focus on direct volunteer work, VISTA members implement new community programs and strengthen agency infrastructure.
In exchange for their service, VISTAs receive a modest living allowance, health coverage, and an end-of-service education award or cash stipend. Visit the VISTA website for more information.

“During my time as a VISTA…I’ve learned that, if you want to create change and growth…then you have the power to meet those goals. And, along the way, you’ll have the chance to cross paths with amazing, vibrant neighbors who are willing to help.– Hannah LeGris (former VISTA member and current VISTA Leader)
