Presented by AGAPE Theater Troupe. The Quilters of Gee’s Bend are descendants of 3 or 4 generations of female quilt makers. True artistry born from necessity, these women have overcome great adversity through their love of quilt making. Mary Ann Pettway and China Pettway will share their stories and display and offer quilts for sale.

Century Mountain: An Evening of Art, Music & Poetry with China’s ‘Wild Beast’

These acclaimed artists form ‘Century Mountain Project,’ an innovative collaboration that honors the greatness in us as human beings. See their paintings in the Arnow Reading Room from October 4 through October 25.

Professor Gizmo’s Storytelling with Music and Movement

Students will learn to translate their own stories into song and stagecraft, assisted by digital interactive devices and professional audio/video software. Grades 1-3. Tuesdays at 3:30pm, September 15-December 1. $150

Professor Gizmo’s Cyber Songs

Utilizing professional audio/video software and digital interactive devices, students will create their own original songs - and learn a lot along the way! Grades 3-5. Tuesdays at 5pm, September 15-December 1. $150

21st Century Stagecraft

A wide-ranging examination of the theatrical arts - past and present - with an eye to the future. These highly participatory classes cover acting, music, movement and emerging technologies being integrated into modern theatre. Grades 6-8. Mondays at 4pm, September 14-November 30. $150

Computer and Audio: Recording, Mixing and Performance

Students will learn about audio recording on the PC, how to get a good mix, create their own songs, and even use the computer to perform live! Grades 9-12. Mondays at 5:30pm, September 14-November 30. $150
