RENTAL SPACES
Thank you for thinking of the Carnegie Center as the location to host your event. We are excited to have you use our building. Here is some additional information regarding your use of our space:

What We Can Provide: The Jesse Stuart room is our largest space located on the first floor of the Carnegie Center. The Stuart room does not have doors that close it off to the rest of the building, so event using this room will be subject to general noise of the building. The Carnegie Center can provide a podium, microphone, and sound system upon request to be set up by Carnegie Center staff member prior to event to aid in amplification. If you plan to use this equipment, please let us know.

Our regular building hours are: Monday through Thursday 9:00 am -7:30 pm; Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm; Saturdays 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Events outside of regular hours can be negotiated for an additional fee. At least one staff member will be working in the building during your event, in case of an emergency.

Renter Responsibilities: While we’d like to provide support in any way we can, due to our small staff we are unable to assist with other planning aspects leading up to and including the day of the event. The renter will be responsible for all aspects of event coordination, including:

  • SET-UP & CLEAN-UP: The room will be left clean, but not set-up. You will be responsible for all set-up/clean-up.
  • REFRESHMENTS: You may serve food and drinks. You must provide your own paper products, serving dishes, etc. Please note that we are an alcohol-free facility.
  • ADVERTISING: This includes marketing, making and distributing flyers, etc. We can provide general directions to our building, but do not plan to make our staff the contact for guests of your event.
  • PARKING: Street parking is available around the Carnegie Center. To obtain parking validations for our garage on Upper Street, we charge $2.50 per validation.

For pricing, available dates and additional information, please contact Jessica Faye Mohler (859.254.4175) or Jmohler@carnegiecenterlex.org.
